The Quest For Caterpillars

Hello Lovelies (:

Hope you are all ok, feel like I have not posted in ages due to being busy seeing family and then I lost my blogging mojo! However I think it may have been found and returned!

Recently I have been on the quest for caterpillars aka eyebrows, big bushy eyebrows are this seasons trend after all! For years I used to get my eyebrows waxed really thin as I had blonde hair and did not think that my thick dark brown brows went well. So instead of changing my hair colour, which would have been far easier, I opted for the harder option and changed my eyebrows! Now it is taking me what seems like a lifetime to grow them back! When I heard about a product that would help get back my bushy caterpillars I got all excited and read all of the reviews on the Boots.com website. After reading them I decided that I would have to try it for myself to see if it would work, plus at this point I was so desperate as I had tried other tips such as putting Vaseline on them before bed this did not seem to make much of a difference. So I toddled down to a Boots store and bought myself the product; RapidBrow Eyebrow Enhancing serum.

What they say about the product;

'RapidBrow Eyebrow Enhancing Serum is a CLINICALLY PROVEN formula with an exclusive Hexatein 2 Complex, a unique blend of fortifying proteins, stimulating peptides and nourishing ingredients designed to help condition, restore and repair the appearance of eyebrows as quickly as in 60 days.'

'Directions: Apply RapidBrow Eyebrow Enhancing Serum with the easy to use mini brush twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.'

'Paraben & Fragrance Free. Ophthalmologist & Dermatologist Tested. Safe for Contact Lens Wearers.'

I have been applying this for about 30 days now so thought I would do this review half way through and then a quick one after the 60 days. I have only been applying this in the evenings once I have cleaned my face before getting into bed as due to my lack of eyebrows I use powder to enhance the little that is there during the day and if I were to apply this in the morning I did not think I would be able to fill them in as to me the product sets the brows a bit. I did not want to use this after filling in my brows as it would make the product quite dirty!

So like I said I have been using this product in the evenings for around 30 days (give or take a few evenings). I personally feel like my brows have grown longer and I have seen a small increase in the amount of regrowth I have in the sparse places. I'm not sure if this is just me willing for the product to work though as my boyfriend thinks that it has not made a difference. Below I have included some pictures of my brows before using the RapidBrow Serum and then some recent ones after about 30 days use of the serum.

This is the only picture I had of my eyebrows before using the RapidBrow Serum, it is not the best picture as my eyebrows are filled in so you can't fully see how/if they have grown.

This picture was taken just the other day, I feel that although my eyebrows have not become thicker just yet you can see that the regrowth has increased.

I will do another quick review after the full 60 days, what do you think so far am I just being optimistic or have they improved?

Thank you for reading

xoxo

  1. I think you can really tell! Even if they are filled in they definitely look fuller! Excited to see how it ends ;)
