Products I Want To Try

Hello Lovelies (:

There are a few products that I have my eye on but have been deliberating purchasing so I thought I would put them on a 'Products I Want To Try' List instead of a 'Wishlist' because if they were on a 'Wishlist' I would be purchasing them all! hehe

Products I want to try

Made on Polyvore.com

Phyto PhytoJoba Intense Hydrating Shampoo - This shampoo is Silicone and Parben free which I like as I am trying to keep my hair in a healthy condition and I heard that products which contain silicone tend to temporarily do this by coating the hair. I want something that is hydrating as my scalp can get a little dry plus I've also seen the benefits of keeping my skin hydrated so thought it would help my hair too. You can get this on Feelunique.com for £11.50

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer - I have heard nothing but good things about this hair treatment which is supposed to keep your hair moisturised and healthy. This does contain silicones but I wouldn't be using this as much as I would be using a shampoo so I think it would be ok. This can also be purchased on Feelunique.com for £26.25

Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum - I currently have the Indeed Hydraluron which is great however I like to try out new things. This is a little bit more expensive than the Hydraluron at £29 from Feelunique.com again

Bumble and Bumble Curl Conscious Smoothing Conditioner - I was unlucky lucky enough to be born with gorgeous ringlets which I proceeded to brush out and straighten through the years and now regret! I do sometimes wear my hair natural but it is so frizzy and more wavy than curly now that I am looking for products to tame the frizz and help put the curl back in. I have heard good things about this brand and as a beauty blogger I feel the need to try some of their products. This can be picked up from Boots.com for £20

By Terry Sheer Expert - I saw this on the SpaceNK website whilst lusting over the NARS Sheer Glow foundation and so when I popped into the store for some bits I had a look at it. I swatched it on the back of my hand and it left it feeling so soft. I looked at the ingredients to see if it contained mineral oils (as these break me out) which this doesn't but, it does contain some hydrating products (can't remember which, sorry). Since taking care of my skin with good products and a great routine it has improved lots, so I find I don't need such a heavy foundation and that when I do wear a medium/full coverage foundation my skin doesn't like it which is why I am drawn to this to just even out my skin tone and give a natural glow but I can't seem to justify the £44 price tag without trying a sample out first!

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Shine Sheer Lipstick - I was at a counter the other day lusting over all the lipsticks when I asked the lady which lipstick she would recommend for me and she suggested this lipstick in the colour 1 Red Strass. I do not own any red lipsticks as I find it hard picking one that suits me, but I am wanting to branch out especially now it is christmas time, I think this would look so festive! You can pick this up for £23.50

By Terry Touche Veloutee - Vivianndoesmakeup raves about this product and since I am using the last of my YSL Touche Eclat (which is very nice) I thought I would give this a whirl after to see how it compares! There does not seem to be as much of a colour range as the YSL version though. You can purchase this from SpaceNK for £35

Clarins HydraQuench Cream Mask - My thinking about purchasing this product is to use it after a clay mask to rehydrate my skin. I researched hydrating masks and this one took my fancy, I don't use many products from Clarins, just a toner, but I know others love their skincare. This can be purchased from their website for £32

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation - I have been thinking about this foundation for quite a while now, I am fussy when it comes to foundations due to my skin being combination because of this I like to be able to test out the foundations before purchasing them. I can't do this with this one as NARS don't do samples which is why it is taking me so long to decide whether or not to purchase this. It doesn't help that I spotted the By Terry foundation as I now have the dilemma of which one I should choose to purchase! You can pick this up from SpaceNK's website for £29.50 (much cheaper than the By Terry Sheer Expert)

If you have/have tried any of this products please let me know what you think as it will help me decide whether or not to purchase them.

Thank you for reading

  3. Wishlist twins! I am itching to get my hands on the Nars Sheer Glow and the Caudalie serum, and I've also had my eye on some Phillip Kingsley and Bumble and Bumble goodies! I sort of neglected haircare for a few years but after having had my hair done I've gone a bit crazy for hair products as it damaged it quite a bit.
I've also been craving the ByTerry Touche Volutee, and I blame the same person as you do! Haha.
